September in Roseville: Fall Fun, Festivals and Family Time
Summer may be winding down, but there’s still plenty happening in sunny Roseville! September brings the full return of school-day routines, a long Labor Day weekend and the first hints of fall, making it a great time to get out and enjoy the community. From hands-on creativity and cultural celebrations to outdoor music, tasty food truck finds and a festival that welcomes the new season, here’s what you can look forward to around Roseville this month:
Roseville Greek Food Festival

Saint Anna Greek Orthodox Church
Add a little international flavor to Labor Day weekend at the annual Roseville Greek Food Festival. For more than 30 years, this local tradition has brought the community together for authentic Greek food and pastries, live music, dancing, shopping and plenty of warm Greek hospitality. Kids 12 and under are free.
Music in the Park @ Royer Park
Sunday, September 6 | 6pm – 8pm
Royer Park
Start wrapping up the long Labor Day weekend with live music beneath the evening sky. A Roseville tradition for more than 30 years, Music in the Park offers a relaxed, family-friendly way to gather with friends and neighbors. September’s free performance featuring Billy Nation offers a great opportunity to spread out a blanket, settle in and savor one of the last summer evenings outdoors.
Food Truck Mania
Thursday, September 10 | 5pm – 11pm
Vernon St. Town Square
With everyone settling back into busy fall schedules, why not give the kitchen the night off? Food Truck Mania returns to Downtown Roseville with a variety of gourmet food trucks, live music and a kids zone. Bring the family, let everyone choose something different and enjoy an easygoing evening together in the heart of the community.

Roseville Aquatics Complex
Jointly presented by the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Roseville, SPLASH! consists of the area’s best wineries, breweries, restaurants and bands for a night of unlimited eating, drinking and dancing. The 30th annual event is for individuals 21 and older and regularly brings together approximately 1,200 residents, business leaders and local businesses from the Roseville area. Tickets can be purchased on the event website (although it is often sold out), with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Roseville Parks, Recreation & Libraries’ underserved communities.
Fall Family Fest
Saturday, September 19 | 2pm – 5pm
Vernon St. Town Square & Royer Park
Say hello to the new season at Roseville’s Fall Family Fest! This free community celebration is packed with autumn fun, including hands-on kids activities, a Big Trucks Exploration Zone, live stage performances, lawn games, crafts, food trucks and more than 40 community booths. It’s the perfect excuse to gather the family, welcome the changing season and make a few new fall memories close to home.
Concerts on the Square
Saturday, September 19 | 6:30pm – 10pm
Vernon St. Town Square
Keep that disco ball spinning as warm days descend into cooler nights! Be your true Dancing Queen or King as Summer Night City delivers the incomparable sounds of ABBA to this free Concert on the Square. Gates open at 6:30pm, and the show starts at 8pm, so arrive early with your folding chairs and blankets to enjoy the grub sold by local Food Trucks. Cabanas are available for rent through the City of Roseville’s website. Adults can also stop by the beer garden while enjoying the season’s last summer Concert on the Square.
