Stroll through the Tree Grove nightly and cast your vote for your favorite—it’s a festive tradition that showcases Roseville’s creative community spirit. This free event runs for over a week, so you have plenty of time to experience the magic.

6:00 – 8:00pm | Vernon Street Town Square
It all kicks off December 4 at Vernon Street Town Square with the City of Roseville’s official Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. This beloved tradition brings the community together for an old-fashioned celebration complete with cookie decorating, visits with Santa, a kids’ activity zone, holiday music, food vendors and—the moment we all wait for—the official lighting of the tree. Best of all? It’s completely free and happens rain or shine (they might even make it snow!).

Toast to the holidays at this après ski-themed party for adults! For just $12, enjoy six tastings of wine and beer from local favorites including Boeger Winery, Crystal Basin Cellars, Lazy Dog and The Monk’s Cellar. History is being made this December! The brand new Downtown Roseville Ice Rink opens December 7 and runs through January 4 at Vernon Street Town Square. This synthetic ice rink is perfect for skaters of all ages and abilities—beginners can use skate helpers and push carts, while more experienced skaters can show off their moves. Sessions are just one hour and include skate rentals. Tickets are $18 for adults (14+), $10 for kids (6-13) and free for little ones 5 and under. Pro tip: Book your time slot early because sessions are filling up fast!

Ready to run off those holiday cookies? The Santa Hustle Roseville is back on December 14! This festive 5K features holiday music along the route, candy cane and cookie stations to keep you fueled, and every participant gets a Santa hat, beard and themed sweatshirt. Whether you’re chasing a personal record or just soaking in the holiday spirit, this is the most fun you’ll have in a Santa suit.
