Roseville Theatre Arts Academy

Inside Out: Word Cloud Projection Workshop

Maidu Museum & Historic Site

In this hands-on digital art workshop, participants will turn words, ideas and personal stories into bold visual portraits using projection mapping. Led by the Sierra Native Alliance youth team, the session blends self-expression and technology in a fun, interactive way, and everyone leaves with a finished digital artwork to take home!

City of Roseville Christmas Tree Lighting

It all kicks off December 4 at Vernon Street Town Square with the City of Roseville’s official Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. This beloved tradition brings the community together for an old-fashioned celebration complete with cookie decorating, visits with Santa, a kids’ activity zone, holiday music, food vendors and—the moment we all wait for—the official lighting of the tree. Best of all? It’s completely free and happens rain or shine (they might even make it snow!).

History is being made this December! The brand new Downtown Roseville Ice Rink opens December 7 and runs through January 4 at Vernon Street Town Square. This synthetic ice rink is perfect for skaters of all ages and abilities—beginners can use skate helpers and push carts, while more experienced skaters can show off their moves. Sessions are just one hour and include skate rentals. Tickets are $18 for adults (14+), $10 for kids (6-13) and free for little ones 5 and under. Pro tip: Book your time slot early because sessions are filling up fast!
