Keep the holiday magic going with a visit to Downtown Roseville’s eco-conscious ice rink. This synthetic rink offers a fun, weather-friendly way for families, friends and visitors to lace up and enjoy the season a little longer.

Start the new year with coffee, donuts and classic cars. This laid-back, family-friendly event brings automobile enthusiasts together for a morning of cool cars, music and good vibes, complete with food vendors, a DJ and cozy fire pits.

Roseville Theatre Arts Academy
Kids will step into a colorful circus world during this playful and heartwarming theatrical workshop. Guided by Ringmaster Joseph, performers explore big laughs, imaginative characters and a message that reminds audiences of all ages to hold onto their inner child.

Maidu Museum & Historic Site
In this hands-on digital art workshop, participants will turn words, ideas and personal stories into bold visual portraits using projection mapping. Led by the Sierra Native Alliance youth team, the session blends self-expression and technology in a fun, interactive way, and everyone leaves with a finished digital artwork to take home!

6:00 – 7:30pm | Vernon Street Town Square
Local businesses, organizations and schools have transformed Vernon Street Town Square into a winter wonderland with beautifully decorated trees. Stroll through the Tree Grove nightly and cast your vote for your favorite—it’s a festive tradition that showcases Roseville’s creative community spirit. This free event runs for over a week, so you have plenty of time to experience the magic.
Thursday, December 4
6:00 – 8:00pm | Vernon Street Town Square
It all kicks off December 4 at Vernon Street Town Square with the City of Roseville’s official Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. This beloved tradition brings the community together for an old-fashioned celebration complete with cookie decorating, visits with Santa, a kids’ activity zone, holiday music, food vendors and—the moment we all wait for—the official lighting of the tree. Best of all? It’s completely free and happens rain or shine (they might even make it snow!).

6:00 – 8:00pm | Vernon Street Town Square
Toast to the holidays at this après ski-themed party for adults! For just $12, enjoy six tastings of wine and beer from local favorites including Boeger Winery, Crystal Basin Cellars, Lazy Dog and The Monk’s Cellar. Wear your best 80s-inspired ski outfit for a chance to win a prize. Hungry? Grab food from Old Town Pizza and the Mini Donut Shack. Bonus: Parents can take advantage of a simultaneous Parent’s Night Out program (5:30 – 8:30pm, $40 resident/$50 non-resident) where kids can have their own night of fun at the same location.

Roseville Theatre Arts Academy is bringing the stage to life with productions of Pete the Cat on December 6 and 13. These performances are the perfect way to add a little culture and celebration to your holiday season.

Vernon Street Town Square
History is being made this December! The brand new Downtown Roseville Ice Rink opens December 7 and runs through January 4 at Vernon Street Town Square. This synthetic ice rink is perfect for skaters of all ages and abilities—beginners can use skate helpers and push carts, while more experienced skaters can show off their moves. Sessions are just one hour and include skate rentals. Tickets are $18 for adults (14+), $10 for kids (6-13) and free for little ones 5 and under. Pro tip: Book your time slot early because sessions are filling up fast!

Get ready for an unforgettable night of country music! Singer-songwriter John Morgan brings his blue-collar country sound to Downtown Roseville. Known for his melodic grit and craftsman approach to songwriting, Morgan has penned eight songs for country superstar Jason Aldean. This is live music at its finest—intimate venue, big talent.

Calling all “Whos”! Join the fun and help save the holidays from the Grinch. Kids can create Grinch-inspired crafts, enjoy tasty treats and visit Santa in this special 30-minute event perfect for all ages. Fee is $18 and includes admission for one adult and child, plus a Max craft punch pass.

Get your holiday gift shopping done in an open-air market while sipping hot cocoa or mulled wine! Browse a unique selection of gifts from local artisans and makers. In addition to vendors, enjoy music, carolers, food, crafts, festive roaming characters and more spreading Christmas cheer. This event is free to attend!

Starting at 7:30am | Vernon Street (Start/Finish)
Ready to run off those holiday cookies? The Santa Hustle Roseville is back on December 14! This festive 5K features holiday music along the route, candy cane and cookie stations to keep you fueled, and every participant gets a Santa hat, beard and themed sweatshirt. Whether you’re chasing a personal record or just soaking in the holiday spirit, this is the most fun you’ll have in a Santa suit.
